Aberdeen MS | actually, the liquid just is the medium to replace the air in the condensor/evaporator. By maintaining a more constant temp it is more efficient.
The actual heat comes from compressing the "freon". just like the outlet pipe from an air compressor gets hots.
If one knows how a semi reefer works....air/air or geo therm heat pump is the same thing in basics. Just on a smaller scale and run with an electric motor instead of a diesel engine. | |
