NW Iowa | I've got a four ton unit with 4 loops each 160 ft long about 9 feet in the ground. Used it two years now on a new house with 2300 sq feet. I don't think my auxilary has ever been used. My geo thermal unit and my water heater are on their own seperate meter and last summer, july and august it cost me 26 and 27 seven dollars a month to cool my house and heat my water. Last winter I don't remember how much it cost me per month, but I don't think it was that much more. Tonight their calling for -16 Brrrr From Northwest Iowa | |
