We have 2 units but the 2nd one doesn't run very much only when 1st one doesn't keep up. Elec rate is.08723 first 500, .07033 2nd 500, .03614 remainder. For example the whole bill for Dec08 was $503. In Oct 09 I shut off all the geo breakers for the whole month and the bill was $247 just for normal household and also pumping water for 1000hd pig nursery, the nursery itself is on separate meter. Don't know how much the water pumping adds to the bill, would be curious to meter it. So it would appear that geo heating is costing $256 difference from dec 08 while heating to Oct 09 with no geo activity. The system is wired 240 volt single phase. Oh we have Geocomfort units they are made in Mitchell SD.
