bob I don't follow. Are you suggesting that heavier kernels does not mean heavier t.w.? I'm sure not following you. First you say tw contributes nothing, then you say that fewer kernels per acre can yield more since kernels are heavier. That would be t.w. That specific size container they use to measure t.w. has only so many kernels in it. If it's a light t.w., it weighs less. Might have the same # of kernels, just weighing less per kernel. I think we're saying that light t.w. can make higher yield, all other factors being equal. That is the argument or question here. |
