Subject: agger, cornguy and others, please understand

Panhandle of Ne.
that I am not trying to argue with anybody, just trying to understand.

Like Ron and some others said above and the exact same thing I am saying but not quite understanding is this.

I totally understand what makes bu. weight heavier. When weather/stress conditions are good and the bu. weight is avg. to above avg., the corn just appears to be better looking. It has a brighter, shinier, darker yellow almost orange color to it. When corn is lighter than avg., it is just butte ugly. Well, this stuff we have been hauling is butt ugly, but lots of volume/mass. If this particular field averages 52 lb. corn, we will be lucky. The kernals appear to be normal size. Compared it to corn that was weighing 59 per bu. today and size of kernals is very similar.

That being said, had this corn been avg. bu. weight, hauling the exact same volume/mass to the elevator, the yield per acre would have been the same and not more? I just can't make myself believe/understand this.

I apologize for being so thick headed.
