52 bu. and 56 bu. I am like you in that I understand that if we would of had a summer instead of an extended spring, later frost date etc. that the bu. weight would probably have been normal. Maybe I am trying to over simplify this, but, the difference between 52 bu. and 56 bu. weight is an approximate 7% loss. So for simplicity, let's say a field made 150 bu. at 52 lb. In my mind, it would have made 160.5 bu at 56 lb. which is a 10.5 bu per acre loss.
