Believe or not, I don't care. I just bought another box of bulbs today. If you wanted to buy the bulbs for me maybe you'd believe how many we go through.
You don't have them in a hog building. They don't last in a hog building.
I haven't put any incandescents in a building for several years but there are still a lot of them in a our older buildings. The newer buildings that started out with CFL's or LED's, we replace 30-40% of them per year and they're only on 1-2 hrs/day.
AND they cost 16x as much as the 100w incandescents used to to boot.
AND an incandescent puts out the same amount of light from new til it burns out. LED's lose their brightness as they age. Even if they're still "good", they might only be putting out half of the light that they are supposed to be.
