That's...not exactly comforting.
There are sensors for everything. I hate diesel engines that debate when something is out of balance.
The EV knows when the cord is plugged in as it tells you how long before charging is done.
I tried my wife's EV just now. Here is what the dash said when started and next was when trying to put in gear.
I'm not here nor is Ed to say EV's are the only answer. We are 35 miles from the closest large town and 70 miles away in different directions from even larger towns for our needs. Each are in easy round trip range of 200 miles total round-trip to be plugged in and recharged at a lot lower cost than our $4.49 gas or $5.49 diesel. Yes we are blessed to own ICE vehicles also but our state is one looking to mandate the California rules for ICE vehicles.
