I'm not opposed to investing tax dollars for EV infrastructure, the govt spends a lot of money on various parts of our transportation infrastructure. But the talking heads keep mentioning the word resiliency as being something very important for our nation, especially in our transportation industry and our energy grid. Forcing a changeover to EVs without an energy grid capable of handling it is the furthest thing away from a nation that has resiliency. There's only a tiny amount of EVs on the road anywhere (compared to fossil fuel vehicles) and yet energy officials are already warning people to not plug in their EVs and don't run their ACs because it might lead to power outages and rolling blackouts....this is resiliency???
