We are not that far away from being hungry with some historic droughts disease or no fertilizer and you wouldn't believe how fast things can go downhill. Look how short we were of everything just slowing down business for a few weeks during covid, shut down ag for a season and millions would die. To many spoiled brats in the world. For centuries all people did was fight for enough food to stay alive, and many didnt.
The entire world is on "just in time delivery". Any glitch in the system and things get really interesting quickly.
It only takes small % changes in grains/meat production to make big moves in the markets.
