Not without importing massive amounts of organic matter and maintaining a living root year-round. Herman Warsaw might have come close on his record field. Wasn't he applying 20 tons/acre of pen pack corncob bedding every year? Something like that with cover crops might get close.

Without something like that? No. Not when we're removing 5 ton or more of grain every year.
