See my question to boog above. I'll ask you also, do your beans not push against the draper sickle when it gets damp/tough at or after sunset? We don't have the auger wrapping issues any longer w/the platforms, but sickle pushing usually signals the end of the work day.

When you say "later", typically how "late" on the clock can you combine beans? How many hours after sunset on a typical damp evening? I realize some post-sunset evenings will stay dry, usually if there's cloud cover & 10-20 mph winds continuing, but those seem rare....here.

When you say "run later", what becomes the determining quit time w/a draper head? Just operator fatigue & time to go home? Midnight? Later? Nothing?
