Central Minnesota

jmewes  "The 635F lost about 300 pounds per acre more than the FD70. They measured this by measuring out 100 square feet and picking all the beans in that area. With beans being $0.30/pound or more that fall,"

Ain't never gonna argue flex draper verses auger head, but what kinda beans ya talking about for 30 cents a pound thats like 18.00 per bushel on soybeans.  And holy crap 300 pounds (5bushel) MORE per acre that is like 18 beans per squre foot. Thats almost more then you can spill loading a truck. And 200 lbs plus 300 lbs more is 500 lbs per acre. Now that ain't good.If your talking soybeans that are around 3000 seeds per lb. that would be 34 seeds per sq. foot. I know I never seen no loss like that.
