Started this season with one draper and one auger head. Good operators on both machines. Traded auger head for another draper after the first rain out. Absolutely no comparison. They also pay in ways other than grain loss, like start earlier and stay later, like less hours on the combine to do the same acres, like less fatigue on the operator, and I believe in a few years the resale on the auger heads will be very poor.
Please explain to me how a flex draper is going to help save beans
