Subject: RE: Seems no one knows how to run a flex auger head?

central - east central Minnesota -

Well, seems all you guys - except Wheat77, do not know how to run a flex auger head? No doubt, some guys don't know how to optimise and fine tune a flex auger - but a flex draper head will save beans, time and frustration for a novice and shine even more then the finely tuned auger for an experenced draper ruunner that takes the time to really set the draper for the conditions. The custom harvest guys have flex drapers for more reason then saving beans . . . . Flex drapers shine more in short beans then taller, with less loss. Heck, anyone can harvest taller beans with acceptable loss with a auger head. But short beans are a challenge .. . . .
Maybe, Wheat 77 didn't take the time to set the draper and learn how to run it?
