| It's really interesting, isn't it. I know that I have some pictures of the ones in Nome, but I suspect that I was using B&W negative film for those pictures, and I don't have them scanned into the computer.
Can you imagine what it sounded like with (I think it was) five of those big five cylinder engines running together - when they weren't tuned to each other?
BTW, quite a few of the guys i worked with on the oil exploration crews were from Oklahoma and West Texas. I've never worked with a better bunch of guys in my life. They knew how to get a difficult job done. | |
