| I pretty much did that - back in 1971, I think. (New) wife and I were out in the Alaskan bush and ran very low on groceries. Salmon, char, as grayling were so abundant that we could step down to the river and catch them anytime we wanted. I will say that, as good as the fish were (and it would be difficult for them to be any fresher or better), we did get tired of fish in the roughly month we were out there. in the winter we had it about right - salmon and moose. That combination was hard to beat. | |
