Producer: My cow didn't bring enough.
Salebarn owner: Here is an excuse.
Local barn was getting grief about the prices. After about a month of being nice he let loose in a weekly report. He wrote the quality coming into this barn is low. If you want a better price, buy better cows and breed better calves. I like it. No excuses.
I guess guys that don't manage their cull cow sales need excuses too.
