all over Iowa

No, I don't currently have any cattle on feed. So a farmer feeder that sits empty for a month or two ceases to be a cattleman?

No, I did not go to convention.

And I make my living off of cattle, just like the doctor makes a living off of patients.

And none of this disputes any of the numbers I have shared, so I hope you had fun.

What you don't seem to get (and I've said it) is that I don't care about it. I am not defending the checkoff. I'm not taking a policy position, I'm looking at the numbers. I'm concerned that if we tariff trimmings we will pay the price by having tariffs placed on the high value beef we export. I'm concerned that if we bring back mCOOL we will add cost to a system with no benefit to anyone. I'm concerned these things would affect the prices every cattleman gets paid, including you.
