That's my philosophy as well, again it depends on your location. If you can grow 275bu corn with $80/bag NGMO corn then. Then more power to you, I envy you a bit actually.

"Here" I have no interest in NGMO because theres no premium for me, and we have decent CRW pressure that has been known to be somewhat resistant, its acceptable most years with GMO corn and rotation. On NGMO you're spending an easy $20/acre on Force, nothing else comes close to it for control.

Add in the nearly constant threat of a drought, I know that paying for the drought tolerant hybrids will pay back more times than not, over seen it with my own eyes during the worst drought in the last 50 years.

I'm happy with where were at, right at that $200/bag for any hybrid we want within the company. Its corn that I know will perform best on my acres without sacrificing things like standability and ear retention.
