| LPaulson7 - 1/22/2019 10:14 I would say that seed isn't a place to try and cut costs... You might buy some cheaper seed, some might turn out alright, and some might cost you more then what you would have spent on the more expensive seed.
The only way to know if that high priced seed is worth the price is to do some trials of your own.
$300 seed corn has to beat $100 seed corn by 23+ bushels/acre just to break even on the seed cost.
That didn't happen this past year. We'll see what happens next year.
