That's not an answer. What is the cost of the replacement battery and the environmental impact? Not every part of a battery is recycled, some is waste. You knew that right?
Have watched the "How it's made" TV series on lead acid battery recycling and they claim more than 90% including the plastic battery case is reused.

Also what is the environmental impact of 200,000 miles of exhaust and oil changes from diesel or gas,plus what it cost to build those engines originally
Good chance it is more than anything associated with the electric car battery.
