The Internet

jiffy - 1/11/2019 04:34  How many miles are batteries good for? And how much is replacement batteries cost?

Nissan put an 8 year, 100,000 warranty on their batteries https://www.nissan.co.uk/vehicles/new-vehicles/leaf/savings-and-bene...

I don't know what they'll cost to replace, but as more and more people switch to EV's, the aftermarket will start to take care of repairs on older cars, just like they do now. The early Toyota Prius's are old cars now and their batteries must be getting tired. Are there internet stories of Prius's being scrapped due to expensive battery failure? The guy that looks after my car looks after a Prius with 250,000 miles on it and told me nothing has ever gone wrong witth it.

The batteries on EV's are very closely monitored to stop them being over charged or run flat to protect battery life.
