near dyersville iowa | i have a long rambling response running in my head right now. Ill try to cut it to once sentence or two. Supply and demand. what makes you think that the price of electricity, including solar panels and windmills, wont skyrocket once all these electric cars are in the system? You say we have overcapacity in the system..thats assuming everyone is somewhere they can charge at night. not everyone works all day and sleeps all night. a very large portion of the working people work second and third shift. So unless you have chargers at their jobs, they charge during the day. Plus you have to build the infrastructure to move the electricity around to where its needed, if you want the most efficient system possible. Otherwise you will just have overcapacity in some areas, and under in others. Maybe some of these concerns have been addressed, i really dont follow this kind of thing very closely. But these are just things i think about. | |
