Coaldale, Alberta, Canada | Nobody wants to talk about batteries, Nick. Its the weak link, the elephant in the room. On our farm in the plant we have two electric forklifts. They are heavy (which is good), never need to go more than 500 ft from the charger (good), and charge at night when no one is working here (good). They operate in warm conditions (good), and don't need to keep the operator warm. (good). All of these scenarios are (bad) for the electric car. Address these issues and we can go somewhere, if not, it's dead in the water. I understand the beauty and efficiency of electric motors, but motors aren't the problem, BATTERIES ARE.
