The Internet

Indrtfmr - 1/11/2019 15:17 What's a ev going to be worth with a dead battery? It'll cost more for a battery than what it is worth. Instead of a vehicle that can run 200-300 thousand miles you have a car worthless at 100. Who's going to handle all the dead environmental dangerous batteries? Can you imagine the pile of batteries that would be ?

There are a lot of Toyota Prius's about now that are old with a lot of miles on them. Where are all of the Prius's with dead batteries? The guy that looks after my car looks after a Prius with 250,000 miles on it and siad nothing has ever gone wrong with it.

The batteries are closely monitored on EV's so they don't over charge or under charge to prelong life. There are plenty of cars scrapped here due to timing chain failure, but the drive train on an EV will probably be spectacularly reliable.
