Subject: After about 5 yrs

no till for beans works easier, but you still need a lot of patience to stay out of the field while the rest around you are raising a dust storm. One out of 10 yrs you could see an economic advantage for no till corn into bean stubble.

The best way to handle the muskrat ridge from the snow melt on frozen ground is a match.

For myself doing the strip till vs conventional till. My net $$ increased somewhat but yields stayed status quo looking at my crop insurance paper work. Being a one man work force on the 600 acres, I was able to stay inside the narrow work "window" easier, especially in the fall.
