A 30 gallon drum of dirt spread finely over a 1/2 mile
OF white snow will APPEAR to be a lot of w
wind erosion when in fact it is not a lot.

Like I said, there is SOME wind erosion but not a lot.

The choice can come down to stopping all wind erosion or getting the crop in a week sooner (in certain situations). Sometimes that week can be the difference between getting it in or not getting it in.

This is why I have always maintained that no one practice works everywhere and a guy has to do what works best on his own ground. Sometimes the beast practice can change over 5 miles.
