It's more than a day most times. In a cool wet spring it can be a week or more.

To us, the yield potentially given up by doing nothing is worth the time, fuel, and shovels.

Erosion is not much of an issue "here"


Nope. You're wrong. Waiting a couple of days vs. your farm blowing away? Go fishing for 2 days. Then come back and farm
