I saw the fertilizer thing first hand when I managed a farm store. People would come in and ask how much fertilizer they needed, I would calculate it out, and they would say, "well its pretty cheap, I'll take twice as much." Or worse yet, triple. I was thinking the other day, I hope nobody comes up with RoundUp Ready lawn seed. Can you imagine how much extra RoundUp will get sprayed on lawns.
Seed corn genetics heading in the right direction ?
