NS Canada | I argued against this the other week - So you think we as producers should be out educating the public on all things beef? There's less farms, less farmers, less cattle, less beef consumption per person and checkoff has continually rose here, to now being $6! (canada stats)
What in the hell is check off doing if all those things are occurring under their lead, all the while they brag about what a good job they do.
The only thing that doesn't go down is their spending. What are you paying checkoff for, if those things continually dwindle and then you still have to educate your customers yourself anyways?
Oh yeah, right I forgot - imagine how bleak it would be if they didn't exist... | |
