What you don't seem to get (and I've said it) is that I don't care about it. I am not defending the checkoff. I'm not taking a policy position, I'm looking at the numbers. I'm concerned that if we tariff trimmings we will pay the price by having tariffs placed on the high value beef we export. I'm concerned that if we bring back mCOOL we will add cost to a system with no benefit to anyone. I'm concerned these things would affect the prices every cattleman gets paid, including you.
