MCOOL was fought for and started in the first place by the checkoff through the NCBA they were the ones that got it for us.
Then the packers lobby took over the checkoff .
The checkoff is a great thing we just need it to go back to producers.
Nothing wrong with packers trying to make the most money they can they are a for profit business.
But they make money with cheap cattle they should not be involved in the checkoff.
