North of London | If I lived in 1400 might have 'believed' the earth was flat if I listened to the authorities (often religious) in some parts of the world however if I had used reason and looked at the evidence I would have agreed with what the Greeks knew 500-1000 BC that the earth was a sphere.
That is what happens when you ignore evidence and try to make things up that there is no proof of.
Things might be real that we do not know about but until there is evidence of something existing then the best it can be is a hypothesis or story.
Something awaiting evidence to show it is true.
Stories about things that are beyond the laws of physics like a man in a flying sleigh handing out gifts need greater evidence than something that is possible in the world as we see it working within the laws of physics. | |
