North of London
We are playing with words and their meaning.
A parent has overwhelming rights to do many things to their child that others would think of as 'criminal'
Authorities should only step in when the parents actions are VERY detrimental or life threatening to the child.
It is a very gray area that is very hard to site absolutes on, a fine line between parents rights and the best for the child, something that needs to be considered on a case by case basis and overseen by other agencies than the one carrying out any actions.
Many court cases have and will happen over where that line is.

You and I will switch places as different situations arise.

It does matter to get the terminology right.
Where people who are opposed to abortion in all cases try to deflect the discussion is by calling a fetus a baby when the definition of a baby is after it has taken it's first breath and usually until it is walking and talking. A moving age on the upper end but the first breath is the very definite beginning of a baby.

So you googled what you wanted to get and got results of people misusing the term baby, go to a dictionary and see what the word baby is described as.

Surprising that you seem to think it is wrong to have restrictions I would have thought from your posts you wanted to totally restrict it.

If abortion is declared to be against the law then you will saddle some with an unwanted pregnancy and many resulting problems and you will send many others to the black market abortionists with many bad health outcomes just as they did BEFORE abortion was allowed legally.

When a law is bad people will break it or ignore it.
