North of London | Well that is what your bible verse says isn't it, "that they do what ought not to be done."
So my question was who gets to decide what that is?
Parents get to decide many things in a childs life so in your example they can just refuse to listen to what the child says about their gender identity and try to squash that part of the child's existence but it is not likely to be in the individuals best interest and when they eventually leave the umbrella of the parents they will make their own decisions and perhaps carry mental baggage the rest of their lives because of the way they were raised.
Indeed we all do but hopefully most of us have rather small carry on baggage to deal with not a steamer trunk full of things to sort through for the rest of our lives.
