With the 8 year old example there is quite a difference if it was a new thought that the child had suddenly when they were 8 and something they had expressed since they were able to talk.
And yes some trans people express their identity as different from their 'plumbing' almost from their first words spoken.
So some 8 year olds probably do know that they are trans just like most know they are what their 'plumbing' indicates. | |
