| I was going to say to skip the dining room but sounds like you have other plans. We put a big island in our kitchen instead of a kitchen table. We really like it.
If you can swing it, floor drains and heated floor in garage. Snow melts off and disappears. I also put my office and a bathroom in the garage. You can sneak in and out if you need to look something up. Dont even have to take off those muddy boots if you dont want to. Makes a nice place to meet with salespeople, etc. No kids running around and wife doesn't have to worry about cleaning up. Its also a nice place to hide out and watch football on a cold sunday afternoon. :-) | |
