| I agree on light switches. Figure out where your bed will be and put a light switch on both sides and a 4 plug outlet for lamp, cell phone charger, alarm clock, etc that will be on your nightstand. I also wish i had a light switch next to the bed to turn off the porch lights on the north side of house. Kids leave them on and i can see them from the bedroom. I have to go all the way through the house and garage to shut them off. I once heard of a farmer who built a house with a switch next to the bed that turned on the coffee pot in the kitchen. That was before programmable coffee pots but a great idea at the time.
I think code calls for an outlet every 6 ft. That's not hardly enough anymore. Maybe put one low and one four feet up. | |
