Houston County, GA | My dad is a builder. What he tells people is don't put a laundry room upstairs. You will want a large laundry and pantry area. Don't let your kitchen get cramped around the oven and fridge when you put an oversized island in the middle. If you keep cutting back to keep cost down you won't be happy with the finished product. I think a two story is a good choice if it will be you two and more children. You could use some storage up top anyways. Make sure everything (plumbing wise) is exactly where you want it in the concrete slab area. Good luck with it, use Advantech plywood on your flooring | |
