| Eh, some of us have drive cycles where the automatic nature of the feature is more of a nuisance than the cost of the fuel otherwise burned.
IE, we have a Cadi XT4 with auto start/stop. I don't mind it kicking in BUT it'll do crap like cut the engine when we're creeping into the garage. Normally that's not too annoying because we're within inches of where we park anyway. However, the second you put the car in park it restarts the engine. Right in time for us to turn it off again. It's downright dumb.
Meanwhile we have a 90% highway drive cycle and the feature is better off being manually ENABLED the few times we could actually benefit from it. | |
