What about the vacuum brake booster? You no longer have vacuum when the engine shuts off, so you're sitting at a light, you don't have near as much brake pressure because of loss of vacuum, someone rear ends you and you are pushed out into cross traffic because you don't have power brakes.
Anything with auto start / stop system will have an electric brake boost pump, no vacuum required.
Can you make these new vehicles not shut of when sitting at a stop light?
