If it was not a proven technology it would not be in service, yes at some point most anything will fail, but you folks just got to get over it with this start stop feature, it's been around for a while now and it's NOT going away
I had a bit of a chuckle at that first sentence. And I agree on the start/stop, if the UPS guy can shut his truck off 918 times a day, it'll probably work fine to shut a smaller engine off at the stoplight. Buuuuuut, I have witnessed technology unleashed on the public more than once that was not quite as proven as it could have been. |
Can you make these new vehicles not shut of when sitting at a stop light?
