My wife's theory is that they are "restricting" availability of things like TP in order to get people to keep coming back...the more people come back looking for TP, the more likely they are to buy some other stuff they didn't plan on.

Devious??? Maybe. Plausible? Absolutely.

My question is...what in the actual **** are all these people doing with all the TP that they are buying????? "Hey honey....gotta leave the car outside....garage is full of TP and hand sanitizer right now."


Your wife has a valid point. The thing wrong with that theory is that it also causes more social interaction, which is what we don't need to prevent further spread. Need to be able to get supplies for 2 weeks at a time.
