It is a fad of one group to go after another in order to feel good. Also shows the complete lack of knowledge people in this country have of history. Lincoln was a white supremacist but I don't see these same groups calling for the destruction of the Lincoln memorial. Woodrow Wilson was a friend of the Klan but I don't see them going after him either. All that said I am not sure how you can be offended by dead people but being offended or "disrespected" is apparently the worst thing that can happen to someone these days as words hurt 10x more than sticks and stones apparently.
Woodrow Wilson has lost his name on a University hall so there is that. |
