I was in Dallas a couple of weeks ago and had an afternoon to kill. We were down at the convention center and saw the statue you are talking about.

Our thought was it should be left up as it is a big part of the history of this country. It would be a shame to remove a part of the fabric that makes this country

what it is. Do I agree with what the war figures of the war were fighting for, no by no means but it is a remembrance of those that fought for their cause.

You can't change what happened, but if you forget it might happen again.
