EC North Dakota | I've been checked many times and never a problem.
But...10 years ago a guy helping me said he ran my truck out of fuel. I told him to go ahead and put some red in to get home. Next day I told him to either drain the tank or run the truck down to nothing and then fill with clear. He claimed he did.
A month and a couple clear fills later, he crossed into MN and was pulled over. Cop checked his tank and found color. $2000 fine from the state of MN and a warning my next offense would be $10,000.
I called to complain, cop says, "you're driver told me even Ray Charles could see it's red!" | |
