several years ago we heard through our fuel supplier that DOT had dipped tanks at local livestock auction when the auction was going on and the trucks were parked . was told cases were thrown out of court because DOT did not actually see the trucks on the highway there is no regulation that says you can not have red fuel in your tank just you can not have red fuel in the tank while on the highway
