Franklinton, LA | Not to complain but I think most people confuse profit and wages. First, you deserve a decent wage for your labor and the management expertise you provide your operation. Second, you deserve a decent profit for placing your capital at risk. What would you earn if you invested your capital in the stock market or in some other manner and then managed a company where you had an equal level of responsibility? Compared to farming, most fortune 500 companies get a much greater return on investment or reward for placing their capital at risk. | |
