Subject: Total pay package for my foreman

Central Illinois
is $62,000 for a good employee. Have five full time truck drivers making $39,000 to $55,000. They all earn the same rate, difference is in how many nights they are willing to drive. Other employees are $13 to $16 per hour. I am always looking for drivers, as that is just what they do, look for greener pastures all the time.

Bottom line, you can't pay good help enough, you can't hire bad help cheap enough. Salary does not make a good or bad employee.

Also, if an employee can't earn me more than he costs me, I can't hire him. Business 101
